Good Dervish Build?
Same thing as my warriors build that i posted, please rate 1-10 + give advice
Weapon: Sundering Ornate Scythe of Enchanting
20/19 15^enchanted increased duration 20%
(for you dumb ones, same status as Dwayna's Grace cept its 20/20 and not 20/19)
Skills: Balthazar (E) or Dwayna (E) (Melandru not very often)
Vital Boon
Heart of Fury
Zealous Renewal
Faithful Intervention
Conviction
Mystic Regeneration
Victorious Sweep
Attributes: Cant remember but i bieleve its this
Mysticism: 12
Scythe Mastery 12
Earth prayers 11
How i got my attributes like that, all i kno is that i use a minor earth prayers and scythe mastery and mysticism major, with a mysticism hood, my attrbutes are something along the lines of that for sure mysticism is 12, and another attribute is 12 and the other is either 12, 11, or 10 (so scythe mastery and earth prayers is unknown atm
with this build i fall down after a LONG time (while i have enchantments on me + Mystic Regeneration)

seeing as u have quite high mysticism id swap ur least useful skill for mystic vigor, it will keep u alive a long time if u position urself well so u hit more than one enemy it will be very hard to be killed

Bump up your sythe mastery.
You have 1 attack skill..... this could be improved.
But as long as it works and floats your boat then go with it.

After spending half a battle putting up enchantments, what do you do? Go stand and tickle your foes? If this is PvE, Victorious isn't a great option as high level monsters will usually have more hp than you until they're half way dead. And tanks are bad (with some exceptions). Sorry, but even when you might need a tank, a warrior can (usually) do it better and more easily and not have to worry about possibly losing enchantments. 2/10 PvE-wise.
If it's PvP, tanks are useless. With no exceptions. Many people will get a good laugh when they Rend/Gaze of Contempt you while their team destroys you before you can reapply your defenses. The only thing in your skill bar that's decent in PvP is Zealous Renewal. Victorious is also okay. 1/10 (2/10 if you run Melandru).
My advice is look at some other builds to base your build off of.
PvE:
For your pure-tank: http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Build/E_Obsidian_Dervish
(No great "normal" PvE dervish builds)
PvP:

just look at the build.... noticed something? it has 4 attacks to it 1) increase attack speed with Heart of Fury 2) end effect of Heart of Fury 3) Zealous Renewal 4) Victorious Sweep also have u noticed that builds r survior builds? i work on builds that keep me alive then the ones that deal destruction
my point is 1 time i was in AB and when both kurzick and luxon had numbers around 400 that i died my first time in that battle

I used to be able to do that with an assassin. It took 3 skills. Which means I had 5 to kill with. But AB doesn't count for anything; the level of play is often lower than in RA.
IAS is not an "attack." The measly three seconds of burning from HoF and 51 damage from Zealous Renewal don't count either. Two auto-attacks will do more. Try using Victorious, Mystic Sweep, and Wild Blow or something in the same bar. You should notice how much more damage you do. Surviving is nice, but if you can't kill anything, who cares?
I forgot to mention lack of rez for PvE/Arenas. It's fine for AB/CM or if you're a monk in PvP, but other than that, you always should have a rez.

Survivability is one thing this is more like a holding build which is a nice way of saying that you'll be the last man standing but that's only because you're not going to be good for much else. While the rest of your team will be screaming at you to help kill a target you won't be able to do so effectively but you'll still be alive. Defense is good , defense is great but you need to think more about damage dealing as a melee character. I mean you have that big honking scythe why not put it to good use?
Zealous renewal could be dropped for another attack skill. I've said it once and I'll say it again, avatars are borderline useless in PvE. If you're going to use one though at least use Melandru and take out Zealous renewal and use Wearying Strike in it's place.
1 of 10 if it's purely for PvE use 1.5 of 10 if it's for PvP.

your using balthazar for starters, you only have one attack skill and its not mystic sweep or chilling victory. you have zealous renewal. you dont have a rez.

2.
It looks like all you're really doing is keeping yourself alive, and only to some extent. There are better builds accomplishing the same thing.
Drop Victorious, Faithful, and Conviction. Throw in Mystic Vigor, Wild Blow, and Mystic Sweep.
Use a major scythe mastery rune.
Doing that, Avatar of Dwayna will function pretty well.

I have a similar 'sturdy' build, although it's:
Avatar of Dwayna
Mystic Regeneration
Mystic Vigor
Zealous Renewal
Balthazar's Rage
Conviction
Chilling Victory
Res Signet/Skill
With 14 Scythe, 8 Earth and 15 Mysticism
The idea is to run into clumps of enemies with MR and MV already on, the rapidly hit ZR and BR for 120 armor ignoring holy damage, then conviction, then swipe a bit until you can release a Chilling Victory. The 120 initial spike really helps to soften things up for the CV, or so I've found. I haven't hit the higher game areas yet though, so this will likely change to something using Mystic Sandstorm later. I also want to replace the Avatar with the monk elite Signet of Removal for Hex and condition avoidance (especially Dazed and Spirit Shackles).
